What a great game from the Cougars!! I am so happy that the team won and I hope for a 2-0 start after next weekend's game against Idaho in Pullman. Gesser is the real deal and so is Jonathan Smith. Smith should be the starter for next week's game against Idaho.

Jonathan Smith should definitely be the starting running back next week against Idaho. He proved himself today and had 2 rushing touchdowns. This kid is the real deal and I am glad he is at WSU.

I wish I was at the game but ah well. WSU won and that's the most important thing. The first game of the season is always a huge one, especially when coaches are trying to get a feel for the new players.

I am just to happy..well I can never be to happy with a WSU football victory. Go Cougars and bring on the vandals.

I think the offense will have a better showing against Idaho. I know everyone on the offensive wasn't happy with the 1st half of the Nevada game..
