No offense to any MAC teams that field a men's soccer team, but OSU has become our main rival in the sport in recent years. This is due in large part to the classlessness of their head coach, players, and fans. It's usually hard to call a team that you've so thoroughly dominated over the years a rival.
We're expecting a record crowd tonight, with well over 5,000 in attendance. If you've got the time, check out the livestream on the MAC website. The match starts at 7:30. You probably won't be able to see the ongoing changes to the stadium, but crews have been working non-stop through the summer and now the fall to install all sorts of stuff from concessions to restrooms, to gates and seating.
Probably the coolest feature is yet to come, with an entire luxury section of the grandstand that rotates independently to face the Soccer stadium in the fall and the Baseball field in the spring.
