If the B12 is going to stick together, do they now look at some of the other B12 members as possible 14th schools? TTU, for instance, would give them the #3 school in TX to go with the Aggies. Might bring more value than WVU or Mizzou, less headache than chasing ACC members.
if i were mizzou, i would still go to the SEC (if they are actually invited). The BIG XII is a house of cards. Texas might play nice with Oklahoma for now, but give it a few years and they'll be back in this same position.
the SEC is stable, get in now before someone else takes that 14 spot.
I think the SEC does have the luxury of time. I would expect them to table the discussion of the 14th until at least next summer.
