I just sat and watched the premiere of two new shows, the new Two and a Half Men, as well as 2 Broke Girls, both on CBS, both on primetime. I watched both with my wife and teenage (15) son.

It's no wonder the youth of today are doing what they're doing. I am the furthest thing from a prude - the furthest. I just cannot believe what is allowed anymore on TV, especially major network, primetime TV.
I am not a big fan of most tv shows, but i did finally watch a few episodes of "2 and a half men" when charlie sheen was going on his rant a while back. It was a pretty good show, but i could live without it. I just so happened to catch tonight's first show without him. I didn't think it was that good.
It is crude sometimes.
I am old enough to remember when Married with Children and the Simpsons were risque. Both seem quite tame compared to those 2 shows.
The Hell's Kitchen finale and you're watching Two and a Half Men? Dude. I mean, even if you don't like Gordon Ramsay, American Pickers was on History.
There's something on TV besides porn? That's somewhat akin to blasphemy.

Kitchen Nightmares is coming to the prison cafe next season. Should be a riot (so to speak).

I didn't watch 2 Broke Girls but I did watch teh Two and a Half Men episode and it's was pretty funny. That show used to be very tongue in cheek with the jokes but now it's just blatant dick jokes. Not safe for kids in the room.

Kutcher was playing Kelso in 2.5 Men, so I wasn't upset with it. Didn't enjoy 2 Broke Girls. Enjoyed HIMYM Premiere. Enjoyed series premiere of New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. Tonight's Modern Family was great, Up All Night was okay. Tomorrow is the jackpot though. Premieres of Big Bang, The Office, Parks, Community, and maybe more (Will be a funny night). Sunday has the return of Boardwalk Empire (and the Sunday after that the return of Dexter). Walking Dead is soon, and the new show I'm looking forward to most is Hell on Wheels that premiers on AMC on November 6thish.

I loved modern family last night and I enjoyed two and half men the other night. Did anybody else watch the x factor last night? I was pretty disappointed overall with the talent. X Factor Australia was on a completely different level. Maybe it'll get better.
Did anyone watch Revenge last night?
If you're a reality TV fan Survivor just had their second episode last night. It's going to be a good season. On that note, The Amazing Race starts this Sunday as well.

The cowboy episode was sort of funny for Modern Family but the other one was VERY funny
It does seem that you can get away with a lot of stuff on prime time TV these days. All in the family is still funny as hell, and that is probably where shows started to branch out into more risque and controversial subject matter. Not much fazes most folks now.

Agree completely. The Cowboy one didn't do much for me but the second one was hilarious. Easily our favorite show, and one that can be watched with the kids around.

I also watched 2 and a half men and 2 broke girls, I could not believe the filth. When the brown haired girl made the Va-jay-jay comment my jaw dropped. Sad thing is, the chemistry between her and the other girl was pretty good, but the writing just sucked. If you have to rely on sexual innuendo to be successful, you need new writing.

Yep, I'm a fan of both.
