Down 7 at the end of the first quarter? I'll take it. Offense looks like it'll be able to score okay...but the D and special teams look pretty bad. Their returners were setting up at the 10 yard line on our little pooch kick. Pretty terrible.

We can challenge possession on onsides kicks correct? WTF didn't we? We clearly had the ball and were down. Secondly, where the heck is Harnish?

The NIU player clearly had the ball. Unfortunately, the Big Ten refs called it for Wisconsin and our coach nor the refs decided they wanted to review the play.

i think that horrible offsides call is going to be the thing that kills this game.

I said it looked like we had it and were down...but if they didn't blow the whistle then I guess the play is good. Refs tend to not whistle loose ball plays dead so it becomes a nasty pile fight and we lost it. Not much we can do about it.

Harnish had all day to throw...and Wisky got away with some interference. Too bad.
