If the South is so racist, as you say they are, why does Herman have a larger following in the South than anywhere else in the nation?

Just a question.

Oh, and this is an "actual" following by people that look at him, not at his color.
That's easy, everyone in the north knows he's an idiot with no shot at winning!

Besides, you don't get to where he is, with all the accolades, positions, experience, etc., by being an idiot, fool.
I'm from the south. I like Herman Cain. I think he's a refreshing change from the norm in politics. He brings a unique perspective to the race, that of a career business man not yet corrupted by the power and influence that often infects career politicians. That said I don't think he has a chance but if he gets on the ballot I would vote for him.
Loony Libs only want people without any brains. Hence their disdain for mindful black men. They want to spoon feed the children the party line pablum and send them off to school. A mindless constituency that regurgitates the party's talking points on command.

In that case, the question becomes why are Northerners allowed to disagree with black politicians and it be okay, but when Southern white people do it, it's racism?
