That's a 6-5 FCS team last year.

Kansas did a good job of stopping the run, but me thinks NIU's offensive line is just a little bit better than McNeese State's.

Good lawd.
Yup. If the NIU defense has any sort of a pulse they'll take this thing.
McNeese State's backup QB is Riley Dodge, a former Texas commit who decided to play for his dad Todd Dodge at North Texas instead. That didn't turn out well.

Also their RB Andre Anderson is a Michigan State transfer.
Well....McNeese State was behind the whole game. They were really never close, so they threw most of the game. A FBS team facing a FCS team, based on size alone, should do well against the run. Just like Army had trouble with both of NIU's lines because of the size difference. Physics, yo.

I really don't think you can tell much about Kansas from that game, nor do I think Kansas will be able to figure out much about NIU from the Army game. Neither played very good competition. NIU will feature a completely different defensive plan of attack and even if Kansas knows what NIU is up to on offense, there's not really much they can do to stop it, unless Harnish has a stroke or something.
CSL loves what Kansas did last week evidently. The biggest riser in their poll going from #90 to #12

And they have us going from #25 to #43. Guess we should have left the starters in.

Our SoS is certainly improving.
