"Standard Full Metal Jacket" 7.62 x 39mm ammo may not penetrate that polycarbonate, but armor piercing AK-47 ammo will penetrate up to 17mm thickness.
Besides if you want to hit a vehicle, you use an RPG or AT4 to disable it and then just shoot anyone bailing out.
