Been a long time since MAC had a 8-5 first week. Even EMU had a good game and won big. Except for road games vs top 25 BCS teams the MAC Won. We had a better week than the PAC 10 and ACC in my opinion.

Not to take anything away from a great first week, but its should be expected that we win against FCS...usually the MAC's first week has practically everyone versus a Big Ten or similar opponent....I guess the conference feels lets try something different this go round by putting off the major opponent for later...
Toledo beating Ohio State or NIU beating Wisconsin could put the national spotlight on the MAC. I think the MAC needs a signature win to draw attention like the MWC teams have done.

Sorry, will not happen.
Yeah but even NIU over Kansas, Miami over minessota, ball state over Indiana, temple over Psu, Cmu over kentucky, and toledo over Syracuse can help a lot.
These aren't great teams but winnable BCS games non the less.

That game is a long-shot for sure. But watch out for the Huskies. NIU's offense might be strong enough with Hopkins and Harnish splitting reps.

BUMP

Well, that wasn't a solid prediction, Wisconsin mopped up NIU's offense.

Ohio is impressive. Maybe they'll pull it off.
WMU is undefeated in games that weren't called due to dangerous weather.
