I didn't think Missouri was in play over the last few weeks but things could be changing.
That would be awesome...but go further and add Four more.
Missouri will most likely be in the B1G or SEC, Iowa State will probably get the invite instead.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I will eat enormous amounts of crow if that happens.
Remember when VTech, BC and Miami were in the BE? Hmmmm....I miss those days.

More hybrid, more 03-yawn boring football teams that are only brought in for numbers rather than actual economics.

Totally stoked at the thought of Kansas playing...UConn. Sa-weeeeeet. Oh well. 03-weeping

With the BE based out of Providence, I think the conference should adopt the following as its slogan:

"Bring us your poor, your tired, your huddled athletic departments yearning to be free."
That could be the new Big 12, if the BE football schools want a divorce from the no-FB schools...

Yes, it could. 04-cheers

All depends on the SEC #14, if Missouri is added I don't see the value in adding KState and Iowa St. I don't think Iowa St. is a quality addition and KU/KState are redundant and KU delivers a market that KSU simply can't. If the SEC goes another route I would be willing to add KState as long as KU and Missouri are along for the ride. I want to gauge the interest of a couple ACC schools before we completely load up on the Big 12 remnants.

Which they don't.

I agree. Why are BE fans so ready to add 2 schools from a small market. We have a problem with Seton Hall! Don't need another one. I don't really want MO because they will always be looking at B1G. You will always suspect something is up with them but I would rather have MO then KSU or ISU.

Syracuse
UConn
Louisville
USF
TCU
Pitt
WVU
Cincy
Rutgers
KU
MO/TT (if the rumors are true that MO will head west)
UCF/ECU

how about Baylor or Texas Tech?

one or the other will be tagging along if Texas goes to Pac 12, which I'm still not sure about

I'm thinking we get Baylor, although I'd like to see Tech as well

I think we get Iowa State as well unless the Big 10ish takes them as a favor to Iowa, which is possible. Iowa State's academics are probably as strong as any school in the Big 10ish. Take Iowa State and possibly Rutgers or another eastern team to even things out.

Your heart is in the right place. You want what you see as right for your program. Nothing wrong with that. No one here expects anything less. 04-bow

9 BE FB schools + ISU/MU/KU/KSU/BU = 14 schools. It's workable.

I'm sorry but I would rather have Kansas than Boston College any day. Footballs about the same with better basketball. Miami is a shell of it's former self and The ACC can have VaTech.

No way. BC was a great Cuse rival. Bring them back; they belong in an eastern conference more than....some. UConn vs. BC will pick up where they left off (rock throwing).

Wilkie, quit bringing up Memphis. I don't care if they are your old rival. They don't stand any chance of a BEast invite as long as they remain a doormat in football...

You're as bad as those morons who keep mentioning Buffalo at times... 03-banghead
