When will B10soccer realize they just can't compete with MAC Soccer
Hopefully this is non just one of those upsets, but indicative of other MAC soccer programs rising up and reaping the benefits of Akron's wild successes on the pitch over the past several years.
2100 attendance, no doubt in part due to the opponent. According to some poster, not sure if its true, it tripled our previous record attendance for Soccer. Hopefully BG can break that previous attendance record numerous times this year.
In a scrimmage earlier this past week, BG beat a ranked Butler as well. Hopefully this isn't a fluke but I'll take the win either way.
WMU, NIU and now BGSU are looking good along with Akron.

I thought BGSU Soccer has very formidable back in the 70's and 80's. Was Akron in the mix back then as well?
Yes, we were national runners-up in 1986, losing 1-0 to Duke in the Tacoma Dome
Add NIU to the list of MAC schools defeating Michigan.
NIU won today 1-0 moving our record to a perfect 3-0 on the season.
