I was watching the Braves/Cubs game, and he gave up a HR to Uggla, who extended his hitting streak to 32 games. Next time up, Z-man plunked Uggla, and then Chipper got Zambrano for a 3-run homer.

Z gave up 5 HRs in 4 innings or so. After the last one, Chipper came up, and Z threw hard at him inside. Ump let it go, and then Z threw even harder and further inside. Chipper jumped back, and the ump threw out Z. The Braves bench emptied, and the ump calmed them down.

Zambrano left the field smirking, and then apparently went into the locker room, cleaned out his locker and left, telling the Cubs that he was quitting baseball.

Man, that guy is a total nut job.

One of the biggest punks in baseball. I wish Derek Lee would have beat his a@@ the other year when they got into it.

As a Cubs fan (yes, I really suffer from Battered Fan Syndrome), I'm happy to see him go....free up the money and the psycho influence in the clubhouse.

It was pure cowardice. Getting your ass handed to you, then you resort to throwing at Chipper? What a putz.

He also plunked Uggla when he came up again after the first homer.

Carlos has some issue, but having to be cub your whole career would drive anybody batty.

Tough break for a.......complete butthead.

Cubs announced Z did NOT retire, and he is suspended without pay for 30 days.

But on a side note the Cubs take two out of three and end Uggla's hitting streak.

Zambrano is gay.
