Not uncommon for soccer players although 7 is young. Clubs run high level youth programs all around the world. Not much different than a kid playing U8 club soccer but with much, much better coaching.
10 is the normal age where you start seeing kids get accepted to youth academies.
I wonder if I can get him on loan for my U8 team this fall?
