The reason why Kentucky won't recruit Stokes is the same reason why they won't play us.

The reason is: If Memphis wins it will be a huge blow towards KY's ego.

uh... uh... The next meeting will be a big deal. Before when we beat them, they weren't a program that left our program for dead. If we met them in the tourney, that game will mean more than just an opportunity to advance.
