Some of the country's best recruits will be in attendance. This will be good publicity for Pastner and staff. Pastner has said the lifeblood of the program are the current players. Hopefully we see some benefits from this.

EDIT: Joe, Will, and Adonis are the players that will be going. (http://twitter.com/#!/MemphisRoar)

Here's my question.

In some instances (I'll leave names out, but if you have two brain cells rubbing together you can figure it out) the "other" message board(s) have articles which shouldn't be shared over here sans link.

I'm no mod, and my opinion matters about as little as everyone else's, but I wouldn't necessarily see where the OP is trying to drive traffic away from here...although it will send people (at least in the short term) over to MR to check out the story, but that is the nature of MR doing stories.
It'll actually send people to twitter, but I see where you're coming from.

Desperate times call for desperate measures though, 99.
yes I made 99tigers's list!!! thats so Germantown

As far as I can tell, I did nothing wrong.

Wait a minute -are you saying that really happened? all the board 'insiders' denied it to the hilt a year ago...dayum.

I thought it was the knife thing that was denied?
Hopefully our guys can continue to sway Jarnell and Shaq while they're there.

Regarding the Texas talent, it doesn't really seem like Pastner has tapped his old stomping grounds. We got DJ, but he wasn't a sought after recruit and it was mainly during the fire drill mode when Cal pillaged the other recruits. I wonder how viable the Pastner-Texas pipeline really is.

I think we can compete with the best of the best just utilizing the Memphis-ATL pipelines. If it ain't broke yet...

Agreed. While we're in on some great players, I sure would love to tap into Texas, specifically the Houston area. I watched a bit of their AAU ball on ESPNU and they're loaded.

It was the Carmouche got decked by Kendrick 'story' that first came out that I guess allowed the insiders to deny it and sleep with their toes up when they denied the whole affair.
