After Kent State won the Excellence in Management Cup in 2010, (awarded to the most economically efficient school along with championships) Akron has won it for the 2011 season. At least, it was kept in the family (MAC). And at least Kent State was not too far behind finishing third.

Sounds like something the administration and athletic department would use to pat themselves on the back.

Toledo finished #20, third in the MAC.
