Everybody except Arkansas State.

So Arkansas State is the one team that doesn't get to play South in 2012?

One thing is certain. The writer does not understand what a contraction is.

I assume the misapplication of "it's" is a pet peeve of yours.

Anyway, I wonder if this will spur some member schools to campaign for expansion and divisional play. With two six-team divisions you would go back to eight league games and have that extra money game if needed.
I don't criticize the grammar or writing style of posters, but professional "journalists" should know better, or at least have good editors to fix mistakes that were not acceptable even when they were in the seventh grade.

OK
So is Troy playing South Alabama in 2012?? I never read anything confirming it would happen.

There's supposed to be a release in a week or two outlining the Jag's 2012 schedule.
Not a real fan of part Duex of these articles. With an 8 game conference schedule, we have begun to find a nice balance in the OOC game scheduling.

We play two home and two road games v. competitive but not krazy competition. These have also become home and home's for us. If we have an 'odd' number of OOC games, we then will only be allowed to travel to (or host) one of these games each year.

I guess we could travel three times in a two year period and host three times in a two year period, however, every other year our home schedule will suffer due to only having one OOC home game. This game will obviously be replaced with a Sun Belt opponent.

Don't get me wrong, to the die-hard like me these conference games are of paramount importance. However, to the casual fan, replacing a UCF or Duke (this year's home games) with another Belt school won't be quite as appetizing to attend....we need our dessert games.

This is going to be a money loser for FIU Football as far as I can tell. Just one more reason we need to get to 12 and go to divisions as soon as possible.
Completely agree with FIU Fan, I'm sure AD Garcia is none too happy about this after working hard to get home and homes vs. Louisville/Duke/UCF/Texas A&M in the upcoming years.
It turns out the Hilltoppers are the lucky ones.

Don't worry, we'll throw you a money game every now and then.
Conference schedules were finalized through 2019 at the latest meetings. But, yes, we should be in the SEC by then.
SEC West champs by 2021 of course <WINK!>
