What's up with the new ETSU letters on the walking bridge? I kind of like the idea, but I'm not sure that those are the type signs I would have chosen.
I actually like them- or at least I will once they are completed. Right now one direction says ET and the other says SU. Seems like they would have completed one side first...

They probably are doing it the way they currently are so that they will only need to block two lanes of State of Franklin instead of all 5 lanes.
The fact it has taken this long to get some type of signage put up there speaks volumes about the relationship between the university and the city.
I'm with you abuc90, I'm glad something is up there, but I am not wild about the look of it. They look like they time-warped them out of the 70's.
Not sure if anyone has driven by them at night, but they are illuminated, and actually look pretty good.

Yes, but let's not discourage the city from doing the dedication.. we need them on our side!!!!!!!!!
They are growin on me, but that picture in the paper does look like an old postcard.
