Nothing to discuss.
Kid has said he likes KY, no big deal, time changes things. Keep in mind his age when Memphis was making an historic run.

Let the tigers get to the second weekend this year and he can't help but to be a fan of the tigers in this town. Will that make him come here, who knows, but it can't hurt.

Seven months ago he was telling kids at WSHS that he was going to Georgetown. I don't know anything about anything and even I know to relax.
Changes like they change their drawers. Nothing wrong with dreaming.
When I was in the ninth grade, I wanted to go to Columbia University. Tenth grade, I wanted to go to Washington and Lee. Eleventh, I wanted to go to UTK. I'm now enrolling at the UofM this fall.

You seem to have gotten smart as time has gone by. My Memphis State degree has held up real good for me. In the past I worked along side guys from KY, LSU, and Vandy. Now I work for myself.
A degree is a degree, regardless of where you get it.
And Quincy Miller was talking about Kentucky his whole junior year, and what school did he end up at? lol
Soooooo long from now...
I think it's funny how Cal wouldn't recruit Memphis while he was here and now that he is gone, all he wants to do is take the best Memphians out of Memphis.

discuss.

as some wise old hill billy somewhere once said

"If you aint fer us....you is against us"
I said a while back this kid talks about going to kentucky in AAU practice all the time.
While most posters read:

"Leron Black: "I would like to go to Kentucky"'

I read:

"Leron Black: "I would like to never be able to show my face in my hometown again."
Kentucky will probably be on probation and X gone by 2014.
have to also remember who is currently coaching Leron at WSHS.

yep. Wasnt the story that Patino was not happy about JJ picking the Tigers over the Mildcats?
If I was a betting man, I would put my money on this guy, I'll let a former recruit and now Tiger player tell you in his words:

Joe Jackson Talks Recruiting

By Adam Zagoria on July 27, 2009, 8:30AM

Memphis point guard Joe Jackson scored 20 points and was named MVP as the Memphis Magic beat the New England Playaz 64-62 to win the adidas Super 64 event in Las Vegas.

Here’s an interview from The Memphis Roar with Jackson, a Memphis native who Tigers head coach Josh Pastner has spent a lot of time recruiting.

“That’s all he’s been preaching since he got to Memphis, even when he was an assistant coach, that I’m the No. 1 guy,” Jackson told the Memphis Commercial Appeal of Pastner. “He’s relentless. He doesn’t give up. He wants you to commit right on the spot every time he talks to you. That’s how he is. I’m just speechless because he wants me so bad. He comes harder than anybody.”

Jackson gives his list as UConn, Kentucky, Tennessee, Memphis and Kansas.

Asked when he will decide, Jackson said “Probably by the half way point of the high school basketball season…or late spring.”

How did this work out? Trust Pastner, in the words of Joe Jackson, "He is relentless"!!!!
