Melatonin works for me, but it works quickly. I like to read in bed for a while before sleep, and if I take Melatonin before going to bed, the "sleepy" effect usually wears off before I've finished the chapter.

I need to learn to time it better, because for me Melatonin works within about 5 minutes or so of taking it, making me drowsy enough to fall asleep but if I fight it (by trying to finish the chapter, for example) then it wears off just as quickly. So the end result is as if I hadn't taken it at all.

Melatonin doesn't work for everyone, but it works for most. Might have to experiment a bit to see how your own body reacts to it. I take the 5mg and you can get a bottle of 100 pills for about five bucks just about anywhere. It only takes one pill to make you feel drowsy.
Dog (s). Preferably the plural. You'll be so exhausted you can't stay awake.
I thought all women had no trouble going to sleep when sex was on the table?
My insomnia last night was caused by some ******* who knocked on my door at 2:30 am asking for gas money to pick up his wife downtown. I was pretty sure he was on meth because he continued to ask despite seeing the 9mm in my hand. Never did get back to sleep.

Damn, son, be careful.

I was more worried about the 4 co-ed girls that live next door.

I live about 4 houses down from the UofM police station and since it's mostly students around me I knew he didn't belong in the neighborhood.

I called UofM police (non-emergency #) and let them know that they may want to take a drive around if they didn't have a higher-priority call and gave them a description. The guy said he was going door to door (@ 2:30 am).

Some set on that guy - I was PISSED that he woke me up.

My daughter lived near campus a year ago and had similar things happen. She wants a firearm for Christmas and I'm trying to talk her into at least a 9 mm, whereas she wants a .22.

Get one that she can handle 9 mm is good but at close range a .22 can do alot of damage and is very easy to handle

Yeah, she likes it, I've just got to make sure she's a good enough shot to get more than one hit if it comes to that.
I am blessed with the ability to lay my head on my pillow and be asleep within 5 minutes.

Try the 10mg time release. It works in about 15 minutes for me.

Thanks! Haven't seen 10mg time release, but I'll look for it.

I never get to sleep more than 2 hours at one time anymore. Sleep deprivation is becoming a real issue. The German Shepherd is just too big to fit in the bed with us and 2 more dogs.
