I was going through my photobucket and didn't even realize I had downloaded this picture. It was after a game in Tulsa that my son and I attended during DRose's year. Since we live less than two hours away, we decided to join fellow Tiger fans for the postgame show. My son went down and took off his DR #23 jersey and had Derrick sign it. As you can imagine, he was in awe. He's 15 now, but that was one of the great Dad-son moments ever. You may recognize the person next to him who made that autograph possible.
oh my !
that IS a blast from the past !

it's a good shot of you. His blue #23 jersey is framed and hanging in his room. I told him at the time that it will be a keeper because the guy is going to be super special.
must be photoshopped. DRose never played here in a season that didnt happen.
honestly, that's cool your kid got to do that.
Derrick's simple gesture created a special moment and an impression that will last a lifetime.
With the blue glasses? Isn't that one of the Tiger Dance Team?
