O Canada! Bill Ayers denied access to Canada:

America lets him teach our kids, but ya gotta give Canada credit, they denied Ayers access into the country. Bill Ayers is a proud radical. Mr. Ayers admits to co-founding the Weather Underground, a group whose members set off bombs at banks, the home of a judge, the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol building during the 1960s. In order to avoid arrest, Ayers and several of his fellow "Weathermen" had to live in hiding for over a decade. He surfaced in the 1980s with companion (and the mother of his children) Bernadine Dohrn. Oddly enough, it was on September 11, 2001, the New York Times printed a story about Bill Ayers, quoting him about the bombings that his group orchestrated: "I don't regret setting bombs," Bill Ayers said. "I feel we didn't do enough." Is it any wonder that Canada has turned Ayers away for the third time in recent years? For the record, Ayers was slated to deliver the keynote address to the Worldview Conference on Media and Higher Education. The group hosting the event, Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA), is not very pleased with that officials turned their Keynote speaker away, but Canadian Law clearly forbids entry into the country to persons involved: "in criminal activity, in human rights violations or in organized crime." The conference organizer and President of the OCUFA, Mark Langer, delivered the best quote related to the story as he compared an admitted terrorist bomber to America's most successful Domestic Designer: "I am disturbed by the apparent inconsistency in the enforcement of Canada's border, in the past, we have admitted Martha Stewart, a convicted felon." As of this writing, Mr. Ayers has reportedly hired attorneys on both sides of the border between Canada and America, in hopes of breaking through the legal impasse in time to deliver tomorrow's keynote address...
Martha Stewart is a kitchen Nazi. 03-wink ( joking!)
Who the hell cares what Bill Ayers or Canada does?
No one should care about Ayers. He should be told when to wake, went to eat, when to crap, and when it's his turn for an hour in the yard.

President Obama and Bill Ayers are buddies in what way?
You know, I often laugh at our neighbors to the north and their feeling of smug superiority. But this time, I laughed with them. Well done, Canucks (not the Vancouver riot bunch).

The Fresh Prints of Bill Ayers are all over Obama's books, etc. Peanut, you really need to get out more and read a little bit.

That is simply not a credible statement. Facts are inflexible things.

They served on a board together and lived in the same area of Chicago? That hardly constitutes being a "buddy"

Hmmm...
Obama's campaign for Illinois State Senator started in Bill Ayers' home:

Politico Wrote:In 1995, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced her chosen successor, Barack Obama, to a few of the district’s influential liberals at the home of two well known figures on the local left: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

Except when it suits you and your conspiracy about some Obamacare commission killing kids that only you subscribe to. Then its totally pliable, huh?
(06-20-2011 07:11 AM)Redwingtom Wrote: [ -> ]Except when it suits you and your conspiracy about some Obamacare commission killing kids that only you subscribe to. Then its totally pliable, huh?

That "conspiracy" is supported by actual results in every country with a single-payer or single-provider health care system--which is precisely what Obama and the leading democrats have expressed to be their ultimate goal. Conspirators don't talk openly about their conspiracies. A conspiracy would be something that they are going to foist upon us in secrecy; this is something that they're going to ram down our throats very openly because enough of us--like you--are dumb enough to fall for it.

You can naively assume that Obamacare is not intended to be a giant step one toward socialized medicine. I don't.

I find it interesting that so many on the left openly champion socialized medicine and lament that Obamacare omitted the "public option," but then turn around and defend it because the agencies that are the functional equivalent of death panels in socialized systems have been created but not given true "death panel" powers yet.

Every socialized system of medicine has death panels. The system cannot operate without them. And they differ from insurance company "death panels" in one significant regard--they have the force of law behind their decisions, so that patients are frequently denied options by law. If you want to believe that we are not headed that direction simply because Obamacare doesn't get us all the way there--yet--then I suppose that is your right. I'm not that naive.

It all comes down to how much you trust Big Brother. I don't.
So I'll assume Tom you are conceding once again that you were wrong without acknowledging you failed.
