It wasn't exactly a stellar year, but what were the best and worst moments for the fans from this past season? Here are a few that come to mind....

Best:
Hartley's buzzer-beater vs UNCW?
Football's win at Butler?
Basketball's win at not-so-great-at-the-time Auburn?
Basketball's win vs MTSU?

For the sake of excitement, I'll say the UNCW win.

Worst:
Football's 4th quarter meltdown vs Davidson?
Getting aired-out (literally) by Marist at Homecoming?
Losing to Upstate at home in the final men's basketball game of the season/Senior Day?

I'll say the loss to Upstate. Capped-off a frustrating end to a year with a promising start.

What do you all think? Am I forgetting any?

I would say the football win over Butler would be the best of the year for athletics. Beating the defending league champion at their place was impressive and showed what the program was capable of doing.

The worst would be any moment from our baseball team that went 3-27 in the conference. If I had to pick one out it would be the loss by a combined score of 37-13 at home to Mercer in April. How has Coach Goff kept his job after the debacle that his program has become?

Was there a BEST? To many worsts to choose from unfortunately! But there is always NEXT YEAR!
