Too bad you can't make money from Vox Day's ego
Quote:According to the survey Obama's strength remains his personal appeal: Three-quarters of all Americans say they approve of him personally, including a plurality of Republicans. But positive views of the president's personality may be trumped by economic jitters

Approve of him personally? May be trumped? Are people that shallow that the issues aren't more important than his used car salesman personality?
Yeah, Jimmy Carter was a helluva nice guy, too.

In a word, yes.
I dont think that 48% of Americans even know what a depression actually is.

Hmmm, so you are predicting 10% retraction in GDP and 24 straight months of negative growth?

His personality? Some people are so shallow that they only care about the color of his dad's skin.....
We will not have a great depression....I will though predict a pretty sh!tty outlook worse than today.
COTUS is putting the economy into the sh^tter. It's part of his master plan to ruin America.

This is what happens when an incompetent individual is in WAAAAAY over his head but occupies the most important political seat on the planet. Then he selects think tank theorists and college professors - people who have ZERO idea of how the real business world works - to comprise 93% of his advisors and top Administration people.

For the uninitiated, COTUS =

Why am I not surprised that a Reagan administration adviser would tout "direct government spending" as the way to stimulate the economy and point that in the direction of the military. Old habits die hard I suppose.

Why not public works and infrastructure projects? If I am going to add billions of dollars to the money supply... I would actually like to see something tangible and lasting be produced from that spending.
The problem for Republicans is that every single candidate that has thrown their hat into the ring has a lower approval rating than Obama.

he lost me at the beginning when he was equating unemployment during the Great Depression and today. I'll admit I didnt read the rest.

If anyone wants to see firsthand how batshit insane Greg is, just look at his posts. He's liking how the economy is performing.

You realize that unemployment is measured much differently now than it was back then, don't you? Using the same standards, the numbers are a lot closer.
If you've been unemployed for 26 weeks, you're not looking very hard. Since I started working, I've never been unemployed for more than nine weeks and that was almost eight years ago.
