Well, I believe the Associate Commissioner for BE Football, Nick Carparelli was being considered for the Executive Director of the Fiesta Bowl. Haven't read where they hired anyone yet.
Knowing how the Eers overreact on such things, maybe if he's leaving for that job they would consider it a Benedict Arnold move.

Looking more and more like an internal WVU thing having nothing whatsoever to do with big picture Big East football.
I won't be losing sleep over it tonight. Just let it sort itself out over the next few days.

My guess is that Stewart spilled some beans to the NCAA and is either fired or he resigned... Looks like there are looming sanctions and Holgy will be the HC sooner than expected.

Well, Bit, regardless, the West Virginia president cannot allow this to simmer very long. It has to be fixed before the fans and players split into two different camps on this. You do not want a West Virginia "Civil War" to happen.
Stew has Marshall connections as well. He was a coach on Sonny Randle's team back in 1980. Like I said in the thread in the main forum, I think the "in waiting" part of Holgorsen's title has just been removed...
Stew can probably forget about that cushy PR job too...
Holgorsen's will get more press than he will want now.
