Cleveland Indains
At one point, last week or the week prior, the standings were: Cle- 1st place, Det- 2nd (Wild card), Cin- 1st place.

Sweet.

Let's hope it's like that at the end of the season.

Why?
I am such a bandwagon fan. Last year I listened to almost every Twinkie game. This year, not so much.

Despite getting their clocks cleaned by the BoSox as I type, I think it's safe to say that the Indians are for real. And by for real I mean, playoff contenders.

Go Tribe!
Best part is Hafner and Sizemore have been hurt as have some pitchers, while their next 2 stars (Choo & Santana) haven't produced either. They just keep finding ways to win. Getting somebody like O-Dog Cabrera in that locker room has been huge IMO, as has the right mix of coaches. I could only think what this crew could've done with the talent Wedgie wasted. Bad enough his personal conflicts forced them to run off players for some BP balls (Brandon Phillips for starters - WTF????), but the ones he kept he couldn't get it done with.

Its May.
Still early in the season but some AL teams have impressed so far and the Indians are one of them. TB is another, they lose Carl Crawford, Pena & Matt Garza. Sam Fuld who they picked up cheap from the Cubs had a good start, Johnny Damon is hiting again and their pitching hasn't missed a beat. Zobrist has been killing the ball to. Longoria is back also, they should be in it for the long haul on a low payroll. Florida Marlins as well as they are 10 over .500. We could have 2 FLA teams in the WS, the question is will anyone watch it?
No one will watch it on TV and little will see it in person. All of their "true fans" are showing just how dedicated they are...waiting for a new stadium to be built until they decide to show up.
