I have had a pinched nerve in my shoulder for almost a month. Never had one before. Waited 5 days and when pain did not subside, went to Dr. and Chiropractor. Now going to Therapy/Alignment three times a week. My right arm is about 60% weaker than my left arm. I work out daily for about 1.5 hrs a day lifting and doing cardio. Never thought it would take months to regain my strength. If you get a pinched nerve, have it looked at immediately. This blows. My right index finger is still numb.
Yep
Wait 'til you start to get older my friend. It only gets worse.

46 already. Work my @$$ of to avoid health problems. This came out of nowhere. Even heavy drinking did not elleviate the pain.

Go to the doctor right away is my advice. Tried to man up.
You know how you got it? Sometimes when I'm doing the military press at the gym I feel a pinch in my left shoulder. I've been able to avoid it by just not going the last 5% up and I avoid hard angles like behind the back anythings.
I woke up with it on saturday morning. I am currently altering my lifts to avoid the trapezoid muscle. The PT want me to not tense it up. Doing a lot of strengthening supporting muscles in shoulder and lower back. Don't wish this on anyone...even you BobL.
So, its your traps eh? Can your rotate or raise your arm parallel to the ground?
I gets pains in my right wrist from pulsating, rhythmic movements. Should I see a therapist or just use my left hand?

If you sit on it first it will numb the hand
