First, He was shot dead. They probably could have taken him alive but that was not the mission. The mission was to kill. I have no problem but I assume many of you do. It also sounds that enhanced interrogation got some info that lead to this lead. Guess we should not have used it. For extreme terrorists with important information, any and all means necessary should be used to obtain credible information. If water boarding works, start using it.

Part 2: I have no idea if water boarding facilitated this information, there are currently alot of stories with conflicting information. I choose to wait until the dust has settled. That said, we as Americans need to live by the standards we set, citizens or not, war criminals or not. Torture is inhumane and therefore should not be within the American integration protocol.

Maybe we should waterboard you to see where you got the information about the waterboarding working. If it works to get that info from you, then we know it does work.

If Bush assassinated Bin Laden you would be all over him. Obama does it and it is ok. You have double standards.
I didn't notice that because he changed it before I read the thread BUT it WASN'T a Freudian slip. It was intentional, just like they do on Fox Boobs Channel and their local network affiliates.

Just like the misnomer that liberals are anti-military. I got nothing but love from my most liberal friends to my most conservative friends when I was in the military. Ignorant and broad generalizations.
I have a friend, totally against the Iraq war from the very beginning and liberal in nearly every way. She is a state prosecutor who specializes in gangs and gang violence. She is ruthless in every way in her prosecution of the gang bangers. She has a gun (which she loves to shoot) to keep her safe at home. She is NOT the stereotype Klake would portray. Hell, what about ME? I would have loved to have been the guy to take out Bin Laden...I'm a liberal.
Point is, for either side to paint the other as war mongers or appeasers is ignorant and factually and historically wrong. My guess is that some conservatives are worried that swing voters are going to begin to view Obama as a stronger president and they are trying to get out ahead of it and paint liberals as weak.
