Eerily similar. Dam it. 03-banghead
Just foul in that situation.
It ain't the end of the line though, we still got another shot (2 actually).
It was just like deja vu all over again.

Yep
We'll take them down tomorrow night, at home, in front of the craziest crowd in FEF history, on a Friday night, on national TV

True, but no way the Grizz want to play a game 7 in SA. They have to close it out on Friday. It sucks to lose in game 5, when you had things right where you wanted them (i.e. up 3 with 1.7 left).
This is what it's like to be a fan of a Memphis basketball team

Some memories are best not regurgitated.
San Antonio should be banned from hosting any games that Memphis teams play in. Like Calkins said in his column, it was like Groundhog Day.

That movie is in my top 5 all-time.
We did goat stomp UCLA in San Antonio and see Anderson's enormous two free throws the year before...

Its the NBA you get continuation...

Not a good Idea.
The shot be Ginobli and Neal...if they shoot those 100 times they would miss 93 of them. They were just great shots. Good defense, better shots.

Yep. 1.7 seconds left with the refs on SA's side I'm not fouling. Hollins should have went 2 for 1 with 39 seconds left if anything.
Just make the guy drive left. OJ totally screwed up there as did Zbo who was guarding Duncan inside the 3 pt line. Let HIM catch the ball!!!
I guess there's some good reason I can't think of for why OJ was in the game at a key defensive moment.
Yep- while Neal was several feet behind the line- he was stunningly uncontested.

If a Ginobli type shot goes in- credit the Floppers.

For Neal to get off that clean a look?

Poor defense. The Floppers stayed close enough- and that was just poor defense...

Either let Duncan make an open three or the shot has to be more defended or from 30 feet out. Not a top of the key open look from 3 feet out.

Yeah, except we didn't get a do-over against Kansas.

OJ way overplayed that in-bounds pass - I guess he was going for the steal or deflection. In any case he had to recover to try and get back in front of the shot. I had time to actually say out loud "That guy's way too open for that shot" - then it went in.
