While we can all agree that some of the USM students went too far, they certainly don't have a monoply on acting like idiots at a bb game. Is it "classless" to taunt opposing players who come out of the game, coaches who have drinking problem, even the handicapped water boy???
IMO it is classless, regardless of who does it, and shows everyone that this school is populated by small minded, stupid, "A" holes.

Taunting at a basketball game from the student section is fine. As long as they're speaking and not THROWING thats fine. UAB's student section even respects no cursing at the USM game. Compare what happened at the two games and there seems to be a gulf of a difference.

He did seem to have a bum leg.... but waterboys are not NEARLY as entertaining as chair boys. I forgot what game it was but we chanted "chair boy chair boy" and the dude looked up at us and waved and was cracking up he really dug it.
If I were a chair boy I'd be honored by being recognized by the student section.
haha yah i'm a waterboy and i love it when the fans do chants at you. i usually always give them the wave and the thumbs up, and even talk to them at half time most of the time. but last night did get kind of out of hand. but i guess it's just part of playing on the road. the only thing you can do is get em back when they come to your place.

I cannot understand why people find if funny to chanted at handicap water boys or others trying to get a scholarship by being a water manager. Makes me glad we have such good fans.
