While it may seem hard to imagine, is about to somehow get worse.

Funniest line of the whole article:

Quote:Stabler said. "But it's not going to be an Alabama show. It's going to be an all-sports show."
Saban Nation Rejoice
4 hrs each Day Crimson Adoration at least until the First Football Game.

Then it'll be 4 hrs of complaining and excuses.
The Two Stews are no longer on in B'ham. That was the only sports talk radio I could listen to.

03-puke Just when you think sports talk in Birmingham could not get any worse.......... Heck we thought it was bad before all the changes....... lmfao

My only question is will Stabler be sober during the show?

This lineup might cut into PF's audience more than a little bit. Great marketing idea by WERC folks.

The depends, will the show be over before 9:00am?
"It's going to be an all-sports show."

Apparently the 20th Street Wife Toss has become an Olympic sport.

Surely you aren't calling that drivel "Quality''
Hmmm...seems WERC wasn't planning on just ceding the sports talk wars to 'JOX at all.

"It won't be an Alabama show." I'll believe that as soon as they add Stan White or Rod Bramblett. lmfao

Comparitively speaking, of course.
Don't overlook the possible (pending favorable court decision) addition of Herb Winches to this dynamic duo. Pauls advantage will be strongest in the late fall and winter when B'ham AM stations disappear outside the city limits after 4:00pm while we can still pick up 100.5 FM out in the country.

On that end, there's nothing stopping Clear Channel from simulcasting "The Ultimate Sports Show" on 105.5 The Vulcan--the same had been offered to Finebaum as an incentive to stay at WERC.
