Apparently he is a finalist for the job at the U. Looks like Mike Davis may be the favorite. Chris Mooney of Richmond is also being mentioned, but I doubt he would take it.

Just the fact that Pelphrey is already being mentioned for an ACC job indicates he will be back pretty quickly. Not sure, that in the end, an ACC school will want to hire a coach that was just fired. But, there is little doubt he will be near the top of any midmajor's list. If Murray State's coach goes to Miami, I'd put money on Pelphrey getting that job.

I hope he does get a good job. I think he could still do well at the right place.
