FIU's softball program has improved over the last several years indeed. However, this season the team has been somewhat inconsistent especially in the out of conference schedule, but FIU has won every series so far coming into the Cajuns' series now, good for third place currently in the SBC.

Tough series, and grateful that we won two out of three. Panthers made it not only interesting, but scary. They made the Cajuns earn everything they got. I don't know about FIU's earlier inconsistencies, but they clearly have the ability to make a regional and win it.

Very impressed, as well as relieved...

#18 Jenn Gniadek pretty much owned us. I have a feeling we will be seeing her again in the tourney. It was a great series!
