Just saw a Kent State ad on TV featuring MArk Mothersbaugh of Devo. Pretty cool.

hmm i read this while listening to an advertisement for Ohio U on Pandora

Very nice plug. Unfortunately I am old enough to remember the Devo videos on MTV (when they actually played music videos).

Interesting. I had read different things about their relationship with Kent State. Other lead man Gerald Casale was on the scene on May 4, 1970, and says those events lead to what became DEVO, the philosophy and the band. Their early videos like "Jocko Homo" were shot around campus, in lecture halls and such.
