That remind me of an interview with Dick Vitale the other day concerning free throws. He was talking about how Kentucky shot 33% from the line against UConn and how pitiful it was that elite college athletes couldn't shoot free throws any better than that. He said he was 71 years old and guaranteed he could do better than that. I agree. No excuse for a D1 player or players shooting that miserably. And we've seen a few of them up close and personal.

No doubt I could shoot better than that- in my backyard. In a pressure game situation with fans hooting and hollering, I doubt it.

I belive if you were in shape and had a scholarship to a D1 school, I'd bet money you could shoot better than 33%. I have that much faith in your abilities.

I couldn't beat that. But I am guessing that if I played basketball all day, every day, I could.
