Incredible what that school has done the last few years. First team into the Final Four this year after coming close to winning it all last year.
That last few minutes was incredible. March Madness at it's best. Glad to see the little guys win. Why can't we be a Butler? Or a Gonzaga?
I think it takes a great committment. Indiana was the state team for years, but Butler has dominated Indiana basketball the last few years.
So there is hope for us.01-lauramac2

If Gordon Haywood hadn't gone to the NBA early, they'd probably be the clear favorite right now. I wouldn't count them out regardless.
When it's all said an done, Brad Stevens could wind up one of the greatest coaches of all time.
The rumor is he'll be Coach K's replacement at Duke whenever he retires. Stevens is only 34 years old and looks around 18. He has a very bright future in coaching, no doubt about it.
I hope he doesn't go to that dreaded Duke...just kidding, he would probably do great there. But I'm sure at this point he can chose to coach anywhere including Indiana if Crean doesn't get them turned around in the next few seasons. I think Crean has a couple season pass though due to the situation he inherited.
It would be a big buyout, right? Didn't Butler sign him to a big contract after the run to the finals last year?
I think so but for programs that would come after him...money wouldn't be an issue.
