probably the next best thing besides seating in a real seat (which are not there yet)

You'll love it OwlFamily!

BTW: I was just about to post this Virtual Seating Tour as well, thanks 561...

04-cheers
Gonna be a nice stadium. Congratulations!
Where's general admission? All you have is student and season ticket seats.
Holy 01-rivals!

That gave me goose bumps.

My group that has sat together since inception has been talking about seating and this will help tremendously.

As for General admission, Im sure that everything other then the student/band/premier club will be open for single season.

FAU is certainly focusing on season ticket sales, (as they should IMHO at this juncture) and GA will work itself out. Im sure in thier delerium they are figureing that all seats will sell out for season tickets.
Do you have to be a member of the Athletic Booster Club to sign up for the tickets on the press box side?

Yes. The seats are $385 (which is $135 ticket price plus a $250 donation). All other seats, besides the premium seats, are just $135.
That's gonna be a nice stadium Owl fans.

Is the $250 donation per account or is it per seat?

Some of the seats seem pretty pricey is all. I hate to see fans priced out of supporting their favorite teams (I'm looking at you Jerry Jones 01-lauramac2 ).
Natural grass, right?

Just confirmed that it is $250.00 per SEAT, so yes if you want 3 seats together in that area it will be $1155.00. That does gain you access to a special lounge and the ability to buy booze.

I do my consumption at either a tailgate OR retaruant before the game so we'll most likely be going with regualr tickets. Just not sure where yet.
I can't find the ocean!

Did you pay for a suite? 03-cloud9
That's a really cool feature; the stadium looks great!
That is dirt cheap considering that ALL FAU $250 level season ticket holders will be able to get into the lounge and buy alcohol. The absolute lowest price that allows a fan to go into the club and buy alcohol is well over $3750 PER SEAT in Mean Green Land. And there are only about 800 of them available. It looks like you have 4 different levels of donating for seats directly down from the press box. You can get a $135 season ticket on the press box side just to the left or right of the press box (on about the 10 yard line) but it doesn't include access to the club for booze. I only wished that we had these options. Our options are... give $6500 bucks for one time donation (two seats) for 10-15 yard seats... or $10K for 15-35 yard line... or $12,500 for between the 40's and 50's. That is just the one time donation that allows us ALSO pay the annual Mean Green Donation of $500 and ALSO to pay for the season tickets ($150 bucks a pop). 3 charges (1 is a one time donation that can be spread out over 5 years and the other two charges are annual amounts) - all to buy a freaking beer. And the beer is not free or anything, lol - that is the price of admission just to BUY a beer. I suppose I could pay $3250 for one seat but my lady would be pretty pissed.

FAU is giving the fans options for every pay level. Nice job. I bet that you sell a lot of beer to those 8K fans. Great markup on beer - should be able to make concession profits off of those 8K priority, premium, loge, and luxury ticket holders.

I also like your virtual tour.

Does every seat have a chairback as well??? The virtual tour makes it look that way. If that is true - I am thoroughly impressed. I was wondering why you guys were spending almost $60 million bucks for a steel stadium when a brick and mortar one is not much more - but it looks like you chose to spend your money on chairs and amenities. A good trade off instead of bench seats in my opinion. Nicely done.

That's correct, every seat will have a chairback. The seats on the home sideline that require the donation include arm-rests, cupholder, and club access. That could be why our stadium costs more then the UCF stadium, but is 15,000 seats smaller and is just about the same cost as UNT's concrete stadium. Plus, we had to build the stadium in a much quicker time frame then yours. So while the stadium is steel construction, FAU has done a great job of "dressing" it.
