I'm always looking to the future, and you know what? The future looks up. Our basketball program is on the way up-- through internal growth, as well, not by just going out and paying for a big name.

Glad to have your company on the positive side to go with my sentiments recently expressed on the "Mike Anderson to Ark" thread (#28). Our national athletic system makes it very difficult for teams that are not backed by a copious supply of millionaires (and billionaires in some cases) to compete for the better players in every sport. I wish we could sell some of those guys on being a "bigger fish" in our "smaller pond".

Maybe we should make a pitch to our state's only billionaire (Forbe's list) and offer naming rights to our new OCS to be "Harbert Stadium".

Softball team is tied for 1st in the conference with a 6-0 record.

Softball team swept Southern Miss to go 6-0 in C-USA.

What a wonderful start!

Our Mens bball champs are CUSA champs and danced this year

Our girls are still playing with a young team

Our Softball and baseball teams both had series sweeps this week

and finally spring football starts this week wit a new defensive cordinator in place.

Looks we'll have a good OOC schedule next year in basketball. 3 games against Sweet 16 opponents from this year: Florida, Ohio State, and VCU.

Who else do we have on the slate for next year?
