They should call the AAA State Championships "The Memphis Invitational" !!!! White Station, Ridgeway, Hamilton, Melrose, Bartlett, and now Craigmont have all won the AAA championship in that span. White Station has won it 5 times.

They should just have the rest of the state play their own version of the NIT. Any of the top 8 teams from Memphis would've won the state. Nice job Craigmont.

The best teams did not make it to the state tourney. There is little doubt that Shelby County has the hosses in hoops. Congratulations to another school bringing home the trophy.

Bearden was no slouch. I saw them play twice this year. Congrats to Craigmont!

I agree Strat. Craigmont just put it together when it counted.
Me and a buddy have been going up to the tournament for 20+ years and I thought this was the weakest Championship Saturday that I've ever seen from all three classes.
Oh and it isn't just Memphis. West Tennessee boys basketball dominates at state. All three classes went to the West this year: Lake County (Tiptonville), Liberty (Jackson) and of course Craigmont. West is the Best!
