You special-creation cretins disgust me.

**** you.
If she was so traumatized by its death, it obviously was a person to her. Should it be legal to kill this person?

I'm unsure of what would happen with a late term abortion to terminate the pregnancy, but how would it be less traumatic than what happened?
If the dubious assumption that a fetus can feel pain is false, then it shouldn't have been a big deal to watch it "suffer".
Quote:"Thirty-four-year-old Danielle Deaver was 23 weeks pregnant when she faced a fate “worse than your own death” — her baby would not make it. Her water broke early and, without amniotic fluid, the fetus would not develop lungs to survive outside the womb. Deaver and her husband decided they wanted to let “nature take it’s course” and would not risk harming the child further, so they asked their doctor to help “put an end to this nightmare.”"

I know people that have lost babies in the womb and babies within hours of Birth... One's pain is not more or less than the other. In other words she is in just as much pain now as she would have been if they had aborted.

What I find somewhat ironic is you rightfully see some tragedy in this but when a baby is slaughtered in the womb at 17 weeks you think its nothing but a simple medical procedure.

So go ahead, use this awful situation to try to make the case that it's ok to kill a baby in the womb.

Quote:“If they thought about their daughter, their sister, their mother, their wife being in this situation, they would never want them to go through that,” Deavers said of the legislators who created the law.

I can assume, as a father, brother, and son, that I would not want any of them to go theorough *either* situation.

Says the supporter of the guy who opposed a bill that would provide medical care to dastardly fetuses who survived partial birth abortions. I guess you would prefer they just get tossed into the utility closet and left to suffocate alone.

There was a big push for donations toward autism research at the conference I was just at. So there's hope for you.

TurdFan, your intelligence level disgust me.
I'll ask this question again: Why do we allow the government to tell us what we can do with our bodies? For a long time suicide was a felony. OK, put my corpse on trial.

I'll admit abortions suck and I've paid for 2 of them. An abortion is not a government thing, it should be a decision made by the parents, doctor, and anyone else involved with the situation because no government written law can cover all situations.

I am not advocating abortions, I'm advocating a person's right to decide what they can and cannot do with their bodies.

It's the baby's body that's at issue.

I suspect we'll disagree about that, but it's better to know what point the disagreement is about.

I know right? why do we allow the government to allow mothers to destory the bodies of babies... Ohhhh I see what you did there, There's really not two people involved nod-nod, wink-wink...

You think they suck for you imagine how the baby feels... And yes, it does feel

On the whole 'laws cant cover every situation'... That's what courts are for! Not every time a person kills another is a crime we have a legal system to vet all that out.

Except upborn kids right... F*** them!

This part:

Except for the unborn who have zero say in the matter So no, you're not advocating for a "person's", you're advocating only for pregnant women to have a say.

Babies who die: F' Them
Fathers who don't want their kid killed: F' Them
Fathers who don't want to support a kid they don't want: F' Them

So you feel better being legislated into what you can and cannot do with your body? I'd rather have a priest tell me not to get an abortion than some law mandating that it's impossible for me to get one.

That happens all the time.

I'm legislated to control my body so I don't pick up a rack full of watches and walk out the jewelry store.

I'm legislated to control my body so I don't steer my car into the obnoxious traffic guard at my neighborhood school.

I'm legislated to control my body in all sorts of ways.

That's not even at issue.

You can take as many watches as you like as long as you pay for them.

You'd be harming a person who has absolutely nothing to do with you and your life other than giving you an annoyance.

You're talking about legislating what your body does, not what you do to your body.

And if you support laws about that, then you can't have a problem w/ abortion.

I'm just fine with laws that prevent one human being from killing another , aren't you?

BTW I know plenty of Atheist pro-lifers...
