If you didn't see the game. Jonesboro lost to Miller Grove 65-52. It was a close game until the 4th quarter. Miller Grove had too much size. The one kid Tony Parker is a junior and is ready to play some D1 ball. I didn't realize he was just a junior. He is 6'9" and 270 pounds. He has offers from all the top programs from Duke, Ohio St, UConn, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, the list goes on. I was sitting next to a guy that is a local AAU coach and he told me that he has been getting offers since middle school. They also had a good point guard and two other post players. White held his own for the most part but he was over matched against Parker. He did block his shot twice though.

EH, I watched the first half of the Rockdale game and Thompson was a good looking player. He looks to be a good defensive player and is quick. He is 6'2" and has some long arms. I would imagine his wingspan would put him in the 6'5" or 6'6" range. He had a nice dunk and some steals. From the little I seen, I think he will not end up at Little Rock. Would have been great if we could have signed him early. His teammate Ware is heading to Tennessee and he was good.

On another note, I watched the girls game that was after Jonesboro game and Fayette County has an McDonald's All American player that signed with UConn. Her last name is Banks and she was good. She was quick and had some nice assists that Magic would have been proud of.

There were alot of good boys sophmores and juniors that played tonight. I don't know if we have our eyes on any of them but there is some talent that I think we should try to sign.
How did our guy do?

I believe he finished with 8 points, 5 blocks, 7 rebounds. He was in foul trouble in the 1st half. He battled against the other teams big guy but I could tell by the 4th quarter he was tired because his shots were flat. From what I seen, he has alot of talent but needs to gain strength. He was holding his ground for the most part for his size. He hit a 3 at the beginning of the game.
Exactly what Joe Kleine said about White. He needs to gain strength. But I think he has a lot of potential for a program like ours. Let John Barron get hold of him for a year or two, and he'll be plenty strong.
Good deal. Thank you for the report!
