He (Austin Richie) scored 18 points in the fourth quarter with multiple Indians hanging all over him. He finished his remarkable career with 35 points. The Devils' 12 wins were the most the program has had in 18 years. The 5-1 mark on the Northwest Crossroads Conference was also a school record.

"Austin's a great player," Robinson said.

"Stories have been written about great shooters cutting down the nets at sectional time forever," Milausnic said. "He's a great player and in the fourth quarter he played like a senior who didn't want his season to end."

I hope and trust Richie's high school career is not over. I hope the committee picking the Indiana All-Stars remembers No. 22 in black and red. With like talent surrounding him, Richie would be a freak show.
His past has been excellent. His present on Wednesday night was the same. His future should have a game in Conseco Fieldhouse this June.
