I didn't get the whole story when you told me on the way out you wouldn't be there tomorrow. Wouldn't be right to be going for a championship without The Man from Plaid in the arena. If your problem is getting a ride let me know on here. I'll check the board after I teach class tomorrow morning.

Here's the true story. My sister's working the night shift at University Hospital (7:30 pm to 8:00 am) four nights a week, starting tonight. I simply cannot leave my mom alone by herself while she's working at night; so I have to miss tonight's SBC final. As far as this afternoon's final goes, it's impossible for me to go, even though I have today off from work. As much as I hate to miss a possible double coronation of UALR winning the Double, I have to stay home. Don't worry, Micky, I'll watch both games on TV. Please extend my apologies to everyone and give them the following message: BRING IT ALL HOME, UALR!!!!!!
Maybe there's someone else who could stay with your mother. I hate it that you won't be there in our biggest game in years. Check it out. I'll bet we could raise a few bucks among us to pay someone to sit with mom until you get home. Get on it right away and let us know if it's possible. Maybe a trusted neighbor.

I had just gotten up moments ago and read the bulletin board. Thank you for your ideas and support. However, I'm sure that you and the fans will cheer extra hard and loud in my absence today and tonight. Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate all you've done for me the past 3 days of the tournament. A special thanks to you Jerry and youy friends for taking me down to Hot Springs and back safely each night. But, as I said before, I have to stay homesode tonight while my sister's doing the night shift at the hospital. Besides, the expected rainfall today and tonight won't help matters, either. Anyway, I ask each and everyone of you who regularly read this board...BRING IT ALL HOME, UALR!!!! One other thing, when at the 1:00 mark of the 2nd half, when we're on top and about to win, please instruct the fans to say this: "THREE CHEERS FOR CURTIS!!" Good luck and Godspeed!
