...you are all in Hot Springs. Congratulations on the big win!

Good luck against the smurfs.
Everyone board member was there accept a couple.
And the rest of us wish we could have been.
What a fun couple of nights. One more win and we get to see the door that leads to the Magical Mystery Tour. I heard that door is painted MAROON.
And post-season is SO over-rated. Sure, whatever.

As to being meaningful, not as to being exciting.
Really..? Beating USA then stAte, back to back, to advance to the semi's is not meaningful.
Two games. Meaningful, but not as meaningful as an entire season.
If we win the next two games, it will be one of the greatest years in Trojan history. As Mike Newell said, "the season begins with the conference tournament". Not to discount the regular season, but with a one bid league, it doesn't matter how many games you win during the regular season if you tank in the tournament. If you win the tournament, that's what people will remember.

Some people.
I guess!

If it happens, I will be extremely excited and certainly will remember it. I just don't see going to the NCAA tournament, as a 16th seed, as something that will change the course of the program and suddenly fill up the Stephens Center. Just like with UAPB, it will be forgotten by next year when all the focus will be on the new players and coach in Fayetteville. I am actually excited, that if we win, we will be in the play-in game- that will give us a real shot of winning an NCAA game- before getting blown out by Duke or Kansas.

Before last night's game, I said if we beat ASU I don't give a darn what happens after that. I guess, this morning I've changed my mind and would like to win tonight. I think we can beat MTSU- even though they had a bye and then were able to rest their players most of the second half last night. WKU or UNT I'm not so sure about. But, probably have a better chance of beating them than FAU.
Maybe we'd only be a sixteen seed this year, but it could be the start of a tradition of winning, and maybe next year or some near year, we can be a fourteen seed or a twelve seed. It's a baby step toward bigger and better things. We desperately need something to begin to establish a winning tradition, and a trip to the NCAA could be the first step in moving this program forward. With that said, I'm not sure we can even win tonight, much less than tomorrow, but I'll be there cheering for the Trojans to do it.

It should help recruiting a little. Give us something to talk about. The best thing is that it would get us into the news at a time when Fayetteville isn't going to the Dance.

Of course, those chickens are FAR from hatching yet.
We have to win tonight before the eggs will even be laid!

Still, we are getting a good bit of good press right now when virtually all the press out of Fayetteville is the usual turmoil.
Good thing these meaningless games have been exciting. A win tonight I'll be even less meaningful.

What-EVER.
