Obama is a neo-con ... his policies are identical to Dubya. The difference is, just like Dubya made small government and fiscal conservative types who were loyal to the party look the other way ....... Obama makes anti-war and civil liberty types who are loyal to the party look the other way.

Neo-con is synonymous with socialist. Both believe in and engage in big government programs that redistribute wealth.

How does it feel to know your Obama-God is identical to Dubya?
If Kerlikowske's intention is to apply pressure, that's unacceptable.

If I'm reading the article correctly, the meeting is scheduled for today-- so we should have a better understanding soon. Til then I'll hold out hope his message will be "Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter."

Actually, it is more fascist than socialist. But believe what you will. I really don't like Obama moving to center right but he is still better than any Republican and/or tea party person out there.

I hate to admit, but that's true. The Obama bandwagon is running us off the same cliff faster.
Yes, I would be outraged if the W administration called someone to set up a meeting...simply outraged!!
******* facts anyway!!!

They called two fricking days after the editorial ran...I would hardly call that immediately.

And then there is this...

Kerlikowske was already going to be in Seattle for another engagement.

That's funny, since these were far left newspapers and sources that printed that.

Sources you're happy to quote when it suits you.
DT, what does that have to do with anything related to this issue?

The guy at alternet stretched the truth to fit his agenda. I don't care whether that is right or left it is wrong.
