a great road win. this years team is playing with heart.

I am still unable to figure out how the same guys didn't play for Coach Mac and in some cases Stokes.
Pirate Fans have been waiting for a team that gives a damn. I would say the lack of attendance over the past few years was because the team wasn't earning a crowd. I say this only because I went to games whenever I could and tried to get a group of fraternity members to go with me, but consistently... it wasn't worth it.

They're earning respect now - and may the underclassmen and recruits take note: that when you lay it all out and practice and play at 100% - you will be rewarded in success, praise, respect, and a top notch atmosphere. I'll be trying to attend the Wednesday Pirate game as should 7,999 others.

Quote:We have four 'quality' wins this season, which is wins over teams with
RPI's that are 100 or better (lower):

UCF (road and home) - RPI of 68
Marshall (road) - RPI of 55
UTEP (home) - RPI of 78

You have to combine the five seasons between 05/06 and 09/10 to find a
total of four quality wins:

12/31/05 - defeated UNCW 82-69 (final RPI of 28)
12/2/07 - defeated George Mason 68-65 (final RPI of 62)
3/1/08 - defeated Houston 84-83 (final RPI of 79)
11/25/08 - defeated Virginia Commonwealth 93-90 (final RPI of 50)

The win over State doesn't count, as their final RPI that season was
102. Just shows what kind of progress has been made this season.
Thanks on that bit of info. ECU has improved in basketball. nice to see that for once
