Today's post from a Buc who appears to now be an App person hurt. It did offer some great advice...simply look to the Mountaineers for football advice. Football at App is a festival on fall Saturdays. It's packed with over 20-thousand... I've told this story before...but you might have missed it. I was in Kidd Brewer to watch the Bucs and App. It was halftime...and we kept hearing people yelling Bill. My wife said they are yelling at that guy who looks like Bill Murray of Saturday Night Live fame... I told her it's Saturday, he's in New York with a show to do. Low and behold over the loud speaker the announcer says...we welcome today's game Bill Murray. The rest of the day my wife is saying...see, I told you. Why don't you ever believe me? I was standing right next to Bill Murray. The lesson is you never know what to expect at an App ETSU football game...BTW...I don't remember the score but ETSU won that day and I smiled all the way home....Bill Murray had nothing to do with my glow.
