He played seven minutes, had three rebounds and 4 points, making both of his free throw attempts. He had more points at halftime than Solo.
He also had a nice baseline shot that went in and came out. He might have more offensive skills than any of our inside players. I think we might be wise to start giving him at least 15 minute a game. I know he'll make some mistakes, but maybe he can make enough good plays to offset them. And he'll be someone we're going to need next year, so every minute he gets is that much more experience. He is looking very comfortable on the court now.04-cheers
He played well. I like what I see out of him. He is going to make a player.
Why not try him at the 5 and Marlo at the 4? Can't hurt at this point.
I don't care what we do at this point. I'm DONE for this year. I wouldn't want to take this bunch to any postseason tournament. Sometimes staying home is better than taking a butt-ugly date to the Dance. This program needs new blood. The Belt is a joke in Men's BKB and is slipping in Women's. I'm thoroughly disgusted. I feel worse now than I did after the ASU loss. I hope these guys have enough in them to avenge the beatdown we got from them at the Jack for their own sake.
Interesting that all three of Gus' rebounds were offensive.

Back to the overall stats: when a team of 6-5 guys gets 14 offensive rebounds against you, it is a pretty good guess that you weren't blocking out.

Actually the snuck a 6'11" guy in there who scored 11 points, blocked shots, and was a force around the basket. When I looked at the starting lineup I was encouraged by their lack of height inside, but when I saw that guy, I knew we were in trouble. He looked like an SBC version of Minute Bol.03-melodramatic

It was Pettigrew and Kerush who had the most rebounds, though, and they are both 6-5.

Pettigrew is the tallest 6'5" player I ever saw. He must have the wing span of a 6'9" player, and/or a tremendous vertical leap. He was getting way above most of the players.01-lauramac2
