We suck. Fire Patton! I read on our board that 557 people showed up for the game. It is just embarrassing.

NIU is really missing two bigs that left, Kowal and one I can't recall his name. Their perimeter game is fine but are crushed inside on the glass.

Anderson and Dinunno departures were addition by subtraction. Landers and Christian are better in my opinion.

Of the 557 maybe 50 students. You can cry "give me a winner", but that is too simple of an excuse. NIU hasnt played too badly, in fact, they have played better than most thought, being competitive against some decent teams. If there were more support the vibe would be vastly different and results possibly different.

You really need to lay off the MD02/NIU Kool-aid. We are better without Anderson? Riiiiiight. Sure, even though we have a crappy record, we have been playing ok against MAC teams. Of course, the MAC pretty much SUCKS this year. You can try to spin it into a positive all you want but it will fail. Sorry MAC fans. THe truth hurts sometimes.

I was at the game last nite.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Broncos beat on the Huskies.

But back to the point.

How well did NIU do last year with Anderson?
He didnt fit. He chose not to. So he went off to Iowa State with several other misfits (pending what Korie Lucious does)
But again, the real loss were the two bigs. NIU has adequate capability on the perimeter.

That's not a statement born of reality.

He is just drinking too much NIU Kool-Aid.

Btw Gobaseline, he didn't quit on the team last year. THat is just a MD02 fallacy(of course, you could be MD02 under a different screen name).
