Is that finally done? For not wanting the damn franchise, Davidson's widow sure is trying to suck every last dime out of it. Sell the damn team so they can get rid of Hamilton and Prince.

He'll be another Mark Cuban, this guy's life is so full of drama and intrigue that it's too much for a feature film. We're talking about a character that put a PI on his payroll to catch his wife sleeping with his brother/competitor. You'll get a feeling when he spreads his warm fuzzies after closing the deal he's a philanthropist, and the greatest guy in the world.

It really doesn't matter who buys the team at this point as long as its not Karen Davidson. The Pistons can quickly fall to the level of the Cavs if they don't get the team sold soon. Forbes estimated the team has lost $100 million in value over the last year. Gores could be a used car dealer ala Bud Selig for all Pistons fans care as long as the first thing he does is clean house starting with Dumars.

I like how a few years ago Dumars put together a team of (then) no names like chauncey billups, and rip hamilton and they won a championship and Dumars walked on water, and now everyone is calling for his head.

Even Bill Simmons said you give a guy the benefit of the doubt 5 years after a title. It's been 6, and his basic moves have been Billups for Iverson, throwing money at Villenueva and Gordon, and who can forget Darko? He did a half-arsed rebuild with the Billups move, but didn't get rid of Prince and Hamilton at the same time, and now he's had his hands tied by KD.

It's looked a lot more like he lucked into trading for Rasheed during one of his sane periods of bipolarism and sucked, rather then being a genius that's fell on some hard luck. That's not even going into his coaching moves, which have been abortions ever since Larry Brown left.
